Despite entering their first-ever European campaign, Crystal Palace are learning at a rapid pace. Without key players like forward Jean-Philippe Mateta and defender Daniel Muñoz, the Eagles departed Dublin with a comfortable win that virtually secures them a place in the Conference League qualifying rounds.
Another three points in their next fixture against Finland's KuPS should be sufficient to secure straight entry to the knockout stages, particularly after a previous setback against Strasbourg.
Squad Members Grasp the Opportunity
This occasion provided a platform for some of Palace's lesser-used talent to shine. Christantus Uche, making only his second start after joining on loan from Getafe, notched the account with a well-taken goal. Forward Eddie Nketiah added a another, finding the net for the second consecutive succession.

The youngster was desperately unlucky later on, seeing one shot strike off each posts before being gathered on the line. Uche then missed a sitter of a chance, indicating there is still scope for improvement in his game.
The only concern for Palace was a late injury to Justin Devenny, who was forced off. This paved the way for 17-year-old forward Benji Casey to earn his senior debut, capping an otherwise perfect night for the traveling side.
